This journal has been informed by the Abidjan Declaration, Advancing Social Justice: shaping the future of work in Africa. The declaration has been lauded for being in accord with International Labour Organization Centenary declaration. There is need to take a human-centred approach to the future of labour market.

AJLHRD is an academic journal committed to publishing articles relating to human resource development and, the legal and institutional framework that regulates it. It aims at exploring and conceptualizing contemporary development of the labour laws.
